   Step 1

   Sign up and choose Mentor

   Register from the top-right corner of any page and pick Mentor. You will fill in your university, course, languages and a short introduction — this becomes your public profile, so it is worth a few real sentences rather than one line.

   • You must be currently enrolled at an Australian university
   • Email or Google sign-up, then your profile details
   • Add a photo — profiles with one get contacted far more often

   Step 2

   Get verified

   Before your profile goes live you upload documents that prove you are a current student, and bank details so we can pay you. A person reviews every application by hand.

   It is the slowest part of joining and the reason mentees trust the directory at all — nobody can list themselves as a student here without showing they are one.

   Photo ID — passport, student card or driver licence

   Your latest transcript, showing you are currently enrolled

   A scholarship letter, only if one applies to you

   Bank details, so your payouts have somewhere to go

   Your documents are stored privately and are only ever seen by the team member reviewing them. They are not shown on your profile.

   Step 3

   List your services and set your prices

   You decide what you offer and what it costs. Each service is priced per mode — online or in person, one-to-one or small group — and any mode you do not want to offer is simply switched off.

   The price you set is the price you set. The mentee's 10% service fee is added on top of it, so it never quietly erodes what you thought you were charging.

   Free is a first-class option here, not a loophole - a service priced at $0 carries no commission, and it is a straightforward way to earn your first reviews.

   Step 4

   Get booked, and mentor

   Once you are approved your profile joins the directory, where mentees find you by university, course, city or language. They message you first, book a time that suits you both, and you meet online or in person.

   You are never assigned anyone. Every booking is one you accepted.

   • Mentees can message you before booking, so nothing arrives cold
   • Reviews build your ranking in the directory
   • Consistent contributors earn the Super Mentor badge

   Step 5

   Get paid

   After the session you mark it complete and your mentee confirms it with a rating — that confirmation is what releases the money. If they never respond, our team reviews the session after 14 days and decides on the evidence, so a silent mentee does not leave you waiting forever.

   The platform's commission is 10% of your price. Super Mentors — the mentors who contribute the most, including free and volunteer work — pay 5%.
